I am Mike Marseglia from Rhode Island. I love this little state and everything in it, from Lincoln to Block Island. I work as Network Engineer for CharterCARE.

At CharterCARE I generally help to support the IT infrastructure and focus on different initiatives: DNS/DHCP, Linux and VMware. I manage, monitor and deploy IT services .

I hold Linux+, VCP4 and VCP5 certifications.  I have taken the project management exam prep class at Bryant University's Executive Development Center and currently pursuing PMP certification.  I believe in the IT as a Service model and strive to define, manage IT resources/applications following the IT Service Management (ITSM) discipline.  At the moment I'm a heavy Google Apps user and recent Apple convert.

Outside of information technology I have a number of various hobbies I dabble in: coffee, gardening, backpacking/hiking, coffee, camping, genealogy, coffee, cooking, painting, and writing.

In the community I serve on the Manville Fire District and on the Lincoln Conservation Commission.  I am an Eagle Scout, a Camp YawgoogStaff Alumni, and host the Camp Yawgoog Wiki.  My family is part of Pack 1, Manville.
